I've been amazingly fortunate so far in that the wedding's coming together easy and quick. My work connections made picking a venue easy, flowers are no big thing, and it's a small wedding so the guest list is no big deal: family and close friends only.

Here's the thing: we're getting married at the Treasure Island, and the ceremony's gonna be on the big pirate ship outside the hotel. To that end, Zee's thinking her dress should be a pirate wench getup or something...and I'd kinda like to match.

I know it's crazy, but this wedding ain't meant to be real swank, we just wanna have a godo time. I didn't like anything I was finding in the way of costumes, so I phoned home. Channing emailed me some photos we took during my costume fittings for the show (I got, like, five changes I go through) and there's two that could actually work for the wedding.

So I put it to you all to help me decide.

I wear this during the first half of the show, it's not long after she turns her panther into me. It looks good, but it's also kinda heavy with the vest on, and I don't wanna die of heat stroke 'fore I say "I do." I could leave off the vest, I guess? The pants are leather with velvet wraps, so I could just go without the wraps at the knees.

Lighter, better for the weather, but it's not as neat looking as the first one, I think. I know part of dressing like a pirate is lookin' like a shlub...but I don't wanna look like a shlub, know what I mean?

Lemme hear your thoughts, I could really use the help.
