Because I fuss so much over my daughter these days, my cats are being neglected...and this one I just had to share. Besides, May not being in it is a big deal.

Can you give a brief history about this picture?
It's my folks' backyard, and the cats are May's last minute baby sitters, no shit. She was playing on the grass with her teddy bear and Hardy to watch her while I helped Dad grill some chicken. Suddenly I hear Hardy screaming, I turn around, and he's standing between May and this fucking snake. I grabbed her while Hardy held it off, thank God. He was still toying with it when Zee and Mom got outside...Boney snapped the pic before I killed the goddamn thing.

What is your favourite object in it?
The cat. Hardeen's like my little boy, he's as important to me as his namesake was.

Is this an old photo or recent?
Way too recent for my liking. Believe it or not, this happened earlier tonight.

What emotion does it portray?
Hunter's arrogance. Hardy's toying with the thing, he's having fun. As much as I did when I killed that thing myself.

Where was this photo taken?
Mom and Dad's house, about a mile and a half, two miles tops from our place.
